NEW SEASON STARTS ON OCTOBER 6TH
The films have been booked, the programme brochure has been printed and you should have received your copy. So you should now know what films you can see this year and what special events are planned. Your committee thinks it’s another stimulating programme and the surest way for you to find out if you agree is, of course, to join. We hope you do!
Every year we need some new members, even though the rate of re-joining is always very high. Forgive us for stating the obvious, but for people to join, they need to know of our existence. Achieving this is not so easy without a very large publicity budget. So please help. The letter accompanying your brochure, as every year, invites you to pass a spare copy or two to friends or colleagues, or to pin one to a noticeboard; and to contact us if you would like more copies. Another good way of publicising us is to bring guests (a guest ticket is only £4). Please try to help in some way if you can.
Annual General Meeting on November 17th
This is an opportunity to find out about the running of ABCD film society, to elect a committee and to volunteer to help. If you are thinking of joining the committee, please approach a committee member to discuss this. You would be very welcome.
ABCD Screenings since 1977

As you will see, we have have shown an awful lot of films over those 34 years and many thanks are due to our chairman, Martin, for typing them all in. The list of films can be sorted by title and director, and there is also a search facility.
A Couple of Reminders:

* After the first three screenings: NO FILM ON OCTOBER 27 (half-term).
