Buster Keaton and his new bride have just one week to build their prefabricated house before the scheduled house-warming. An early Keaton, with many of the trademarks of his later work.
With live piano accompaniment by Andrew Youdell.
USA 1925, 20 minutes
Buster Keaton and his new bride (Sybil Seely) have just one week to build their prefabricated home before their house-warming – scheduled for Friday 13th. A delightfully clever and funny comedy which introduced many of Keaton’s gags and his bizarre, almost surreal imagery. Written and directed by Buster Keaton and Eddie Cline.
“Is this where Frank Spencer got it from?”
“Excellent Keaton and usual good accompaniment from AY [Andrew Youdell]”
